Last week in Jude, we learnt that Jude had a burden to sound the alarm against apostasy because it had secretly crept into the church he was addressing. In helping his hearers to be alert to the characteristics of those who were guilty of falling away from God, Jude gave them some examples from the past and then told them what to look out for in the present. We're going to be looking at the latter this week, and importantly also consider some safeguards we can put in place to ensure that we don't drift away from the Lord.
