I bet that wasn’t the opening story you were expecting to hear as we returned to the Book of Genesis this week to continue our series, “Genesis – Back to the beginning.” Besides, didn’t I say that we were going to examine *4 key events viz. the creation, fall, flood, and tower of Babel, and *4 key individuals viz. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph?

I did, and the story I just shared, which occurs all too often in marriages, even Christian ones, has its roots in ignoring a principle found in Genesis 2, which amongst other things, gives a worm eye’s view of the creation of mankind.
