In this encounter, Peter, James, and John come down to earth with a bump. Following their mountain top experience on the Mount of Transfiguration they descend the mountain with Jesus and immediately find themselves in the midst of messy humanity. The remaining 9 disciples and the Pharisees are embroiled in an argument regarding their inability to cast out a demon causing muteness and deafness, and there is likely some debate if Jesus, who the religious leaders doubted to be the Messiah, would be able to succeed where His disciples failed. If He does, there's just one conclusion the Pharisees can come to, He is indeed the Messiah, but will they accept it?
