Communication Breakdown Part 01

It was my intention, after the first two messages of 2025, in a mini-series titled, “Live life to the fullest,” to move on to a longer series of messages from the first three chapters of Ephesians, which tell us a lot about our true identity in Christ. But, since I’ll be having my total hip replacement on the 6th of February, and will be out of commission for a couple of weeks after the surgery, I decided to talk to you about something that isn’t important. It isn’t important, it’s critical. It’s a vital part of every human relationship we have. Our relationship with our parents, spouse, children, family members, friends, co-workers, employers, employees, customers, service providers, fellow students, and team mates. Each of those relationships is affected either positively or negatively by our commitment to or lack of commitment to communication, not just any communication, but open, honest, considerate, controlled communication, which, of course, also includes the crucial element of being a good listener. How are you doing in your communication? If you can and want to do better, then please join us for the next three Sundays as we look at what the Bible teaches us about talking with one another.
