Fear factor vs faith factor 08 – The fear of death

This Sunday in the final message of our series, “Fear factor vs faith factor,” we’ll be looking at a fear that I suspect many people wrestle with: The fear of death. The Russian engineer and author, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, rightly noted that it is one thing to confront someone else’s death but an altogether different matter to confront your own. Dying and death are not things we like to talk about much. They don’t exactly provide the substance for light-hearted banter around the dinner table. But to think of and talk about death is something we simply must do, because how we view and approach this time in our lives and the lives of those that are closest to us, is entirely dependent on one central factor – or at least it should be. We'd love to encourage you as we fellowship together at 15 Leslie Avenue. If for whatever reason, you just can't be with us in person, then please do join us online on YouTube at 8am.
